Background and Credentials
Born in Nigeria and raised in the United States, Dr. Okechukwu Anyamele—known to patients as Dr. Dennis—brings a wealth of experience and a calm, compassionate approach to Astra Dental. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry, where he developed a strong foundation in restorative and preventive care. To further expand his skills, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Mississippi, receiving advanced training in comprehensive treatment planning, surgical procedures, and patient-centered care.
Dr. Dennis’s professional journey has taken him beyond the continental U.S.—he practiced in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he provided a wide range of dental services to diverse patient populations. This experience deepened his ability to adapt treatment plans to individual needs and reinforced his commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.

At Astra Dental, Dr. Dennis shares Dr. Sran’s passion for modern, technology-driven dentistry. He incorporates digital workflows, in-office milling, and 3D printing to enhance precision, efficiency, and patient comfort. His approach centers on communication, education, and attention to detail—ensuring each patient feels informed, relaxed, and confident in their treatment.
